Background

Donatas Chlebinskas is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He specializes in foot and ankle trauma, degenerative conditions, deformities and sports injuries. He has a special interest in percutaneous and arthroscopic techniques.

Mr Chlebinskas has completed medical masters degree at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. He undertook the higher Orthopaedic Surgery training in LUHS Kaunas Clinics. Thereafter he worked as Orthopaedic Specialty Doctor and senior fellow at Milton Keynes University Hospital. During this time he has successfully undertaken European Board of Orthopaedics & Traumatology (EBOT) certification exam and later Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Orthopaedics (FRCS Orth) certification exam.

He has completed British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS) accredited fellowship at Mid Cheshire Hospital Foundation Trust in 2022 and (BOFAS) accredited fellowship at King’s College Hospital London in 2023. After this, he was appointed as a substantive consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals in 2023.

He has contributed to writing a textbook “Essentials of Foot and Ankle surgery” by Maneesh Bhatia, published in foot and ankle topics. He is a member of British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS), European Foot & Ankle Society (EFAS), Minimally invasive Foot & Ankle Society (MIFAS)
